Fayetteville is a hip little town in Northwest Arkansas filled with incredible local businesses that are run by inspiring, trendy people.
Fayetteville doesn’t just cater to one specific demographic. You can be a student, a graduate, a teenager, a mom or a dad. Fayetteville has so much to offer and being able to call it my home for the past four years has given me the chance to discover all that is has to offer! So I’m here today to tell you some of my favorite things to eat, see and do in Fayetteville, AR!
For starters, Fayetteville has incredible places to eat and anytime I have a friend or family member coming in town, I always have go-to places to take them to eat.
For blue skies and sunshine-y days these are my favorite places to eat and see…
1) Prelude Breakfast Bar
Prelude is honestly kind of perfect for a birthday brunch. It has such a trendy vibe when you walk inside and has a really cool and unique menu that is making me hungry just thinking about it!
2) Emelia's Mediterranean Kitchen
Emelia’s is definitely my personal favorite breakfast place in Fayetteville. Their food is absolutely incredible and they also have really delicious juices and mimosas. My favorite thing to get on the breakfast menu is the Chorizo Omelet, to die for!
3) Taste of Thai
Thai food is my absolute favorite cuisine out of everthing else and so when I discovered a really good thai restaurant I was so excited to share it with all my friends. The best part about this cute little place is that it has outside seating and so on a nice night it’s really pleasant to sit outside under the
twinkle lights and enjoy a delicious meal. My personal favorite would be the Penang Curry, my friends and I always order that!
4) Lake Fayetteville
Lake Fayetteville is perfect for a nice day because there are so many options! You can either take it easy and walk around the lake, which puts you at about 5 miles when you’re done… gotta get those steps in! But what is really fun is to rent kayaks and bikes and make a whole day out of it.
5) JJ's Beer Garden
JJ’s Beer Garden (JBGB) just recently opened last summer and has been a hit! I personally have not made it out there but it is definitely on my Fayetteville bucket list before I graduate! There is sand volleyball, summer night concerts, drinks, corn hole, and so much more! And the best part is that it’s welcomed for all ages, not just college students!
6) Farmer's Market on Saturday Mornings
Every Saturday in the Spring and Fall, there is a Farmer’s Market until 11am and if you didn’t go out the night before, it’s a great place to go and get some fresh flowers and support all the local businesses! I know that going to the Farmer’s Market with my best friends will always be one of those memories that I cherish the most.
