How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Okay for the record these are not in a specific order. But this movie is one of the funniest and cutest Christmas movies ever! There have been several versions of it, but the Jim Carey version is my absolute favorite. I quote this movie on a daily basis. One of my favorite lines is from the scene where he can’t figure out what to wear to the town festival and looks at himself in the mirror and say’s “That’s it, I’m not going.” I mean…. HOW RELATABLE?!
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal(; Everyone knows the classic tale of poor little Kevin being left home alone when his family accidentally forgets him while caught up in the chaos of traveling for the holidays. But here are 2 facts about Home Alone 2 that you probably don't know: Macauley Culkin made over 4 million dollars on this film. He was only 12 years old, and he spent a lot of it exactly how I would…. Room service, his bill for chocolate cakes and ice cream cost a whopping $967. Another fun fact is that while filming it was so cold that the cameras FROZE!
How could I not include this amazing work of art… Everyone’s favorite movie that I can shamelessly admit I watched on October 15th this year. Too soon? Will Ferrell will have you LOLing in his bright yellow tights playing a grown man thinking he's an elf. If you haven’t seen it already, get out from under the rock you’re living beneath, you will not be disappointed.
This iconic 1954 Christmas film is feel-good musical. And no, the song White Christmas didn’t come from this movie, but it did make it even more famous. In my opinion this is the most beautiful Christmas movie to watch, the colors are gorgeous, the dances and choreography are so well done, and the costumes are timeless. Plus it’s a classic love story of two best friends falling in love with sisters… How cute!
Hey look kids! A deer!! (IFYKYK) This is every dads favorite Christmas movie. It is absolutely hilarious watching Chevy Chase’s character trying so hard to make it a perfect holiday for his family, but everything that could possibly go wrong… Goes wrong. This movie covers every Holiday nightmare. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy watching a man try to keep his cool under extreme chaos!!
Hope you all enjoyed reading about my favorite Christmas movies and if you haven’t seen any of them, now you have something to curl up on the couch with the fam and watch!
